1. What made you to become an IB Business Management teacher, and how did your journey begin and how long have you been teaching the subject?
I became an IB BM teacher due to the differentiation and the uniqueness of the curriculum and the hands-on experience provided by it. I believe that the growing demand for the IB certification I have been working as a BM teacher for 4 years now and before that 4 years as an IGCSE BM teacher.
2. What is the make up and structure of your current IB class? Do you teach HL and SL? Together or separately? How many students do you have per class? Do you teach other curriculums or subjects?
Usually the class is mixed SL & HL for common topics. the average number of students is 20 per class
3. Can you share a memorable moment or activity from your classroom that highlights the unique dynamics of teaching IB Business?
At the beginning of each class as an energizer, a student shares an interesting business scene that he sees during the week (an AD, a business idea,.. and then we relate it to the business content)
4. What is one teaching strategy you've implemented that has significantly improved student engagement and understanding?
Student based discussion

Yes, several ways including Ads, articles, and then relate to the BM content and concepts
6. What are some common challenges students face in IB Business, and how do you help them overcome these obstacles?
Business terms- we use flash cards that are posted to the class walls whenever we use a business term in the class
7. In your opinion, what are the key skills that students need to develop to succeed in IB Business? And how do you develop them?
Critical thinking. this is developed through the class discussions and involvement
8. If you could give one piece of advice to new IB Business Management teachers, what would it be and why?
Exposure and you need to have as many real-world examples as possible
